The terms and conditions set forth below are a legal agreement between you (the Client) and ILL IT Solutions and its associated companies. These terms and conditions shall apply to all goods and services supplied to the Client by ILL IT Solutions.

By accessing these terms and conditions, browsing this website, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood and agree with the terms and conditions stated including exclusions and disclaimers in respect of liability and loss arising from the supply of goods and services to you the Client.

These terms and conditions do not affect the Clients statutory rights.

Commission Agreement

By commissioning ILL IT Solutions, you are entering into a legally binding contract with us. These Terms and Conditions set out our obligations to you and the terms you agree to when using our services.

Terms and Terminology

In these Terms and Conditions, references to “we”, “us”, “our” refer to ILL IT Solutions.

Headings are provided for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.

Authorisation

By commissioning us, you authorise ILL IT Solutions to inspect and evaluate your equipment to determine the nature of any faults and provide an estimate of repair costs and timescales. This evaluation is free of charge, and no repair work will be carried out without your explicit approval.

You also authorise us to replace components with new or equivalent-grade parts (new or used) where necessary.

You grant permission for us, our employees, and agents to transport your equipment as required for the purpose of completing the repair.

Repair Order Process

To process your repair, we will request the following information:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Contact numbers
  • Email address
  • Device passwords (securely deleted after completion)
  • Description of fault

With your consent, we may use your details for service updates, customer feedback, or marketing communications. We will never sell or share your data with third parties unless required by law.

Client Legal Rights

You confirm that you are the legal owner of the equipment. All data stored on the device remains your property, and we will not access it without your permission unless required to perform the repair.

Payment

Payment is due in full upon completion and prior to the release of your equipment. We accept cash and major debit/credit cards. Business customers may pay by invoice with prior agreement.

Invoices must be paid within the agreed terms. Late payments may incur a charge of 2.85% per month or £25 per month.

We reserve the right to suspend services or withdraw credit facilities if payments are overdue.

Refunds (where applicable) will be issued to the original payment method within 7 days if goods are faulty and returned with proof of purchase. After this period, store credit may be issued at our discretion.

Ownership of goods remains with us until full payment is received.

Special order parts and accessories must be paid for in advance.

Estimates for Repairs

An estimate will be provided following inspection. We may require a deposit of up to 50% before commencing work.

If you decline repair after diagnosis, a £25 diagnostic fee will apply. This fee will be deducted from the repair cost if work proceeds within 7 days.

Availability of Goods and Services

All goods and services are subject to availability. We are not liable for delays or failure to supply due to circumstances beyond our control.

Booking a Service

Repairs can be booked in-store, by telephone, or by email. You will receive confirmation of your booking.

Home or Business Call-Outs

Call-out services are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Missed appointments or lack of access may result in a charge equivalent to one hour of our standard rate.

If we need to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible and arrange a new appointment. You may cancel and receive a full refund of any advance payments.

Cancellation

You may cancel a call-out service up to 4 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund.

Cancellations within 4 hours will incur a charge equivalent to one hour of our standard rate.

Delivery of Goods and Services

All timeframes are estimates. We are not liable for delays beyond our control.

Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Collection Policy

Equipment not collected within 120 days may be sold, recycled, or disposed of to recover costs. We will attempt to contact you beforehand. All data will be securely erased prior to disposal.

Software & Compatibility

Following repairs, software may need reinstalling. You must provide licences where required.

We are not responsible for software compatibility issues arising after repair.

Data Backup

You are solely responsible for backing up your data before repair.

We are not liable for data loss, corruption, or business interruption.

Confidentiality

We will not disclose your data to third parties unless required by law.

Limitation of Liability

We take reasonable care but are not liable for accidental damage, data loss, or indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

Warranty

We provide a 30-day warranty on labour. Parts are covered by manufacturer warranties where applicable.

Warranty excludes misuse, accidental damage, software issues, and external factors such as power surges or water damage.

Manufacturer Warranties

Repairs may void manufacturer warranties. It is your responsibility to check before proceeding.

Misquotes

If a quotation is found to be incorrect, we reserve the right to revise or cancel it. You may accept the revised quote or cancel for a full refund.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled within UK courts.

Disclaimer

We aim to ensure all information is accurate but do not guarantee completeness. We are not liable for reliance on website content.
